This is the shortest path from "I just heard about Call2Me" to "I have a voice agent answering a real phone number." Five steps, five minutes, zero credit card.
What you'll need
- An email address.
- A phone you can call from for testing.
- Five minutes.
Step 1 — Sign up
Go to dashboard.call2me.app/register.
Enter email and password. Click the verification link in your inbox — that's what unlocks the $10 in free credits on your wallet (top-right of the dashboard).
What $10 buys you:
- ~100 minutes of voice base ($0.10/min), or
- ~67 minutes including telephony ($0.10 + $0.05 = $0.15/min), or
- ~50 minutes if you also turn on call recording ($0.20/min total).
Step 2 — Run the wizard
On the Agents page, click New Agent. The wizard asks four things:
- What does this agent do? Pick the closest use case — receptionist, sales qualifier, support agent.
- What language? Pick from 9 options: Turkish, American English, British English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Arabic.
- What voice? Filter by language; every voice has a preview button.
- Knowledge base? You can attach one now or later.
Hit Create. You're on the AgentDetail page with a working agent.
Step 3 — Tighten the system prompt
The wizard's default prompt is generic. Spend 60 seconds making it yours. Open the System Prompt box on AgentDetail and replace the default with something specific:
You are [Name], the receptionist at [Business Name].
Your job:
- Answer questions about [topic 1] and [topic 2].
- Take bookings/leads and confirm details back at the end.
- Forward urgent issues to a human at [phone number].
Style: speak naturally, two-sentence answers max, never say "as an AI."
Save (Ctrl/Cmd + S or the Save button). You'll see a green checkmark.
Step 4 — Buy a phone number
Phone Numbers section → Buy number. Pick a country (Turkey, US, UK, ~70 others available via Telnyx). Confirm. The number appears in your list within 5–10 seconds.
Click Assign to agent → pick the agent you just created.
Step 5 — Call it
Pick up your phone, dial the number, listen to your agent answer. Talk to it. Hang up.
In the Calls tab, you'll see the call appear with a transcript and (if you turned recording on) the audio.
What to do next
- Add a knowledge base so the agent can answer specific questions.
- Set up post-call extraction to pull structured data from every call.
- Embed a chat widget on your site for visitors who'd rather type.
- Run an outbound campaign to reach leads at scale.
Troubleshooting
Call doesn't connect. Wait 30 seconds — there's a SIP route propagation step. If still no connection, check the number is assigned to the agent.
Agent sounds wrong/unnatural. Voice gallery → preview a few different voices. Some sound better in some languages than others.
Agent makes up facts. Add a knowledge base — without grounding, the LLM falls back on training data and hallucinates.
Frequently asked
Q.How long does it take to deploy a voice agent on Call2Me?
About five minutes from sign-up to a working agent on a real phone number. The wizard handles the system prompt, voice, language, and a default knowledge base — you only pick options.
Q.Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Email-verified signup gives you $10 in free credits, no credit card required. That covers roughly 100 minutes of voice base, or about 50 minutes including telephony and recording.
Q.What does a voice agent cost on Call2Me?
Voice base (STT + LLM + TTS + Knowledge Base) is $0.10 per minute. Telephony adds $0.05 per minute. Optional call recording is another $0.05 per minute.
Q.Can I use my own phone number?
Yes. You can either buy a number through the dashboard (Telnyx, ~70 countries) or BYO via SIP trunk.
