Does it work on any website?
Any tab that plays sound, including meeting tools and video sites. DRM-protected streaming services cannot be captured by any browser extension — the extension tells you when no sound is arriving instead of leaving you guessing.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. There is a small pool of free minutes shared by everyone each day, so you can install it and hear it working straight away. An account is only needed when you want your own minutes and a transcript archive that follows you.
Is my audio stored anywhere?
No. Audio is translated as it plays and discarded — it is never written to storage. The transcript is kept in your own browser, tied to the page address, and never uploaded unless you choose to.
What does it cost?
