Updated October 6, 2026
SMS lets you text from a phone number you bought through Call2Me — an appointment confirmation after a call, a link, a reminder. Replies to that number land in your message log.
Send a message
curl -X POST https://api.call2me.app/v1/sms \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"from": "+14155550123", "to": "+14155559876", "text": "Your appointment is confirmed for 3pm tomorrow."}'
frommust be an active number on your account — otherwise403.tomust be a+1(US/CA) number — otherwise403.textis 1–1600 characters, but anything over 5 segments (~765 characters) is rejected with413.
The response is the stored message: id, direction, from_number,
to_number, body, segments, status, cost_usd, created_at.

curl "https://api.call2me.app/v1/sms?direction=inbound&limit=50" \

Frequently asked
Q.Which countries can I text?
US and Canada (+1) for API sends. Other destinations are rejected with 403 before anything is sent or charged. Turkish (+90) numbers can receive call notifications by SMS through a separate local route, see Notifications.
Q.How much does an SMS cost?
$0.02 per segment, debited from your wallet. A segment is up to 160 plain characters (153 per part when a message is split). Messages are capped at 5 segments.
Q.Can my agent read inbound texts?
Inbound messages to your number are stored and listed by GET /v1/sms?direction=inbound. They are not routed into an agent conversation.
